TIPS FOR SUMMER TIGHTS
LOW DENIERS
A lower denier number indicates a finer, lighter fabric, and generally a sheerer one too. If you choose hosiery in your skin tone with a denier of 5 to 10, it will barely be visible. And anything up to around 20 denier should be light enough to keep you cool.
FISHNET AND LACE
Net and lace designs are, by their very nature, super breathable. Fishnets do not need to be a statement piece. Wearing in the office check out Trasparenze Ambra Fishnet which have a small, subtle diamond design.
NATURAL FIBRES
Natural fibres such as bamboo, cotton, wool and cashmere are almost always more breathable than man-made ones. Silk is the ultimate and most comfortable.
CROTCHLESS
An open crotch design or crotchless will assist in the summer months. Cotton and silk gussets are ideal.
TOELESS STYLES
Want to keep your hosiery inconspicuous, but planning to wear open-toe sandals? Check out our range of toeless hosiery, that leaves this part bare so you don’t have to worry about a visible seam ruining your look.
STOCKINGS AND HOLD-UPS
Fewer layers mean cooler legs in the heat. Stockings and hold-ups are going to keep you cooler whilst a pair of suspenders tights which are not only crotchless but fully open at the back and front afford security and a cool option.
